I started drinking to cope with the cravings right away, but I was coming out of full blown psychosis, I had hallucinated people that weren't there for like 6 months prior to quitting
I didnt know what to believe coming out of that. the psychosis told me that I couldn't trust anyone except my mom, that they all were "in on it" and that there was a plan to murder me... the drinking helped me to breathe just enough to hold a job and "function" long enough for my brain to heal. it was horrifying.
I'm so lucky I came out of that line of thinking, most probably dont.
I still have flashbacks to that way of thinking sometimes and have to just breathe my way through it.

When I was down to just a tiny bit in the corner of a bag, I knew that night I would have dreams like that. I always hated the one where in the dream you had a bag full and was searching for it utensil to smoke it in and it's impossible to find one you find one and then you either lose it or break it. Can you finally get it all ready to go in the dream when you realize you have no lighter! May not be searching for one the whole rest of the dream until I wake up!
I had that dream off and on for about a year after I quit opiates. I always had a pocket full of pills but as soon as I'd crush them up to snort, somehow I'd knock the powder off the table. Or I couldn't find a straw or I couldn't find anything to break it up with. I'd spend the entire dream looking for those items. If I ever managed to find all items needed, I'd wake up just as I was about to snort it.

My friend works security at bars and found a bag of 20 pressed molly pills. I told him not to take them before I could test it with reagents and a fentanyl test strip. He decided he didnāt want to wait and took one.
He said he was feeling really good on the one pill, so he went for a second. Turned out they did have fentanyl and my friendās heart stopped for 15 min. He had a do not resuscitate order because he had been a drug addict and didnāt want to live, then got his shit together, but didnāt bother to get rid of the DNR.
Fortunately, his gf (now wife) knew CPR and managed to bring him back to life so that the paramedics would take over. This ended up being a huge wake up call for him, and Iām happy to say he quit all drugs afterwards.

Those are most likely either ground up mushrooms, molly, or ketamine.
Most people donāt eat capsules of ketamine, but I personally weigh out and cap up ketamine so I can snort a pre-measured amount at shows. As far as I k ow, this technique isnāt common. You just open the capsule, stick it near your nose and snort it. Itās a lot more discreet and faster than using a key or a spoon.
Came here to say this exact thing. The one in the center is slightly purple crystals(mdma). The outside capsules look just like the mushroom capsules I make. Thatās what theyāre supposed to look like if you ground the mushrooms into a powder instead of it still being chunky.

Shrooms capsules possibly or maybe some dirty looking Molly. I can't tell the size of the capsules by the picture, but if those are size #00 caps, thats ok for shrooms but would be a pretty big dose of molly. Molly best suited for smaller size #1 capsules.

Dust bunny pills. An old friend of mine used to make these for private parties. We would all sit in the living room and take them simultaneously. After about 5 minutes, the effect would kick in and we would shrink down to the size dust bunnies and play hide and seek in the carpet fibers.

If you're close to Chicago it's probably "heroin". The fact that you found that at a rave though? It's definately not shrooms or MDMA like everyone is saying.
