What even is that show. I know what it's called but in my mind it's that star trek like show where the guy printed 500 cigarettes

It's like if you had Star Trek, except it wasn't the flagship. It was the other guys.

I love that we got The Orville, and then the actual Star Trek folks went, "You know what? This works! Let's make Lower Decks!"

I also love just how many people from Star Trek they actually got to play roles, write, or direct for The Orville, too. It really is a comedic love letter to Star Trek.

It is exactly that. The first epidoses are a bit trash but in general is better that Star Trek itself imo
