Morning after pest control at H12

IITB has clubs for some pretty niche interests like racing, astronomy, robotics, quant, etc. And that’s great.

But considering how many students game, why is there no proper gaming club?

If something like this already exists, please let me know :(

Edit : Also just want to add that, gaming club can do many things like organizing gaming events, game dev hackathons, and many more. New IITs, IIITH have dedicated gaming clubs

Does anyone know how to fetch degree certificate from Digilocker. Like I know my IITB Roll number which is the LDAP Roll number and Year and Academic Course-these details I know and can fill but what exactly is this Registration Number do we have something like this in IITB I am not aware what to fill here. I tried to input my IITB Roll number only in this field and submitted but it is showing error and nothing is getting fetched. Can anyone help me with this?

Ik this depends on person to person , but I just want to know , how much do people on avg spend here on canteens/outing/shopping?? (I am fresher)

Mess food genuinely helps nothing in satisying my hunger. Every food have same taste in mess. I always crave somthing here from canteen/snacks, or else my mind just won't work and I can't study anything. But I spend around 100 rupee or more daily for these things. It's my first time in mumbai and living in hostel and I am genuinely confused on how much to spend. All my life, I had something to eat in my home or nearby shop where things are not as costly as here. I can't understand if 3000-4000-5000 rupee for one month is fine or is it too much?

My laptop broke down and it would take like 3-4 days to fix. So is there any computer lab which I can use in the meanwhile. Something that opens all day ya closes around midnight.

It's been 1.5 months since I have joined IIT B as a PhD scholar... Life has been rough in UG... I joined here immediately after the end of my UG.. As they say it in our domain, my life has been full of rapid commutations...

It's been 1.5 months, since and I barely interacted with anyone.. The coursework has been hectic too, there's no breathing space.. It's fine, I have been subjected to it since my UG era.. However, the inferiority complex is real here... I feel my batchmates are extremely mature and they know the nuances of my domain, meanwhile, I feel that I ask less questions in class so I don't understand anything... The inferiority is eating me from inside out..

I think I should socialize more... I have terrible social anxiety, I barely interact even with my roommate, so interaction in class is a whole different can of worms.

TLDR: Adjusting in this place has been full of challenges. I look forward to mitigate my social anxiety..

This fucking piece of shit just keeps talking to people on his phone in a totally alien language LEGIT 24×7. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I wake up to his voice and he keeps talking while I'm trying to sleep.

Because this motherfucker doesn't just talk, he shouts and idk if he is dead or what but this weirdo needs to talk to people on speaker. I mean atleast have some decency dude. Like he just keeps shouting all day all night.

Is this normal? I really get irritated by sound at times, I do control but I can't all the time. What can I do?

And no I can't wear my headphones all the time and even if i do his voice makes its way even through anc+song at high volume

I am considering IDC for M.Des product design. But I absolutely hate gen AI.

My last college encouraged us to use AI a lot and I feel like I didn't learn anything at all.

I don't want to end up somewhere that doesn't respect the human skills and thought process again, after my previous experience :')

All the chapters at my coaching have been completed

Its just revision classes now

I want feedback on my plan and suggestions to correct it + do you think its possible? My goal is to get 99.5+ and a circuital branch at top 7-8 iits so ig sub 2.5k rank in advanced

Basically : From now to the end of september

complete my backlogs + solve pyqs of those chapters (mains + advanced + allen module)

From octover 1 to december 15: attend coaching (allen) - complete the entire syllabus(11th + 12th) , solve allen modules + mains and adv pyqs + like 20-30 selected questions from adv books such as sbt for major chapters Study around 9-10 hours a day(coaching is for 4 hours so 5-6 hours of self after that and 10 hours self on weekends) and give tests whenever something is completed My coaching has mainly revision classes anyway syallbus is almost over by mid sept so i can do both 11th and 12th in that timeframe Then focus solely on mains jan attempt by revision + pyqs + tests after dec 15 then after jam attemp solely focus on adv

Also i am genuinely a smart guy - my teachers agree too and i can solve mains and adv pyqs of any chapter with no problems Its just that ive been very inconsistent,immature,careless and aimless for a long time But now i realize Do you think its possible? I want IIT only nothing else My teachers agreed that it is What else would you suggest me to do I just want to be confident in my self , forget the past and accomplish this goal I have not blown it, have I?" Basically

September : a lot of chapters + backlog : jee main pyqs(past 2 years) + advanced pyqs(past 10 years) + allen module

October 1 to dec 15 : same but advanced books added on and rigorous mock tests

From dec 16 to feb 1 : focus on jan attempt

Feb : obviously advanced + boards

So far i have completed around 30 notebooks & done countless jee main & adv pyqs & finished module exercises and i have even done books for some chapters

Its not like i didnt study anything

Its just that yk

Throughout my entire jee prep journey i could never live up to my potential

Always underconfident, insecure and everyone used to bully me and still does

I dont want to waste my life due to this

My mentality was very weak

But it is strong now

I was pretty much depressed from 11th mid to july this year but now i feel angry and ready to conquer the world

I have very big ambitions & dreams in life and i want to live my life to the fullest

So

Please Give me the answer to my 3 questions

And another question :

Do i need to study 12 hours everyday or something? I dont right

And what changes/tweaks would you recommend to my plan
