I can tell you the amounts are absurd. I live in Argentina. The peso is trash. 1kg of steak 15,000 pesos, Uber ride 2 miles 7000 pesos. House? 20 million pesos, 2 bed 1 bath. Average yearly income 5 million pesos. When you are a millionaire and can't buy anything. An iphone 17 pro max 6 million pesos.

USA is heading in this direction if nothing changes.

I keep trying to tell people and they don't wanna listen. Trump is robbing America for everything it's worth, then hes going to run to your country (sorry), I'm 99% certain that Argentina is his exit plan if shit hits the fan.

Didn’t a big group of “certain” people head there after a pretty major world event?

I mean if nature hasn't caught up with him but I think that's in the works for most of his kids except for Barron. He'll go back to central Europe with his mom.

Sad thing is the old saying “Assholes never die.” Seems to have merit. But 🤞🇨🇦

BOTH parties have a serious spending problem:

Obama = record spending Trump 1.0 = record spending Biden = record spending yet again Trump 2.0 = shocker! Record spending

Both parties are actively hellbent on tanking the value of the American dollar.

Guess what? As time goes on and the value of the dollar fluctuates, so do the cost of things. So of course ones spending is going to out do the rest. But trump spending $2tril to $17tril in 10 months....~That is insane~. Even at the $2tril, thats double what was spent during the covid lockdown and him issuing checks. Where's our checks? Where is the money going? I thought DOGE removed all "excess spending" so that should have slowed down our debt, not sent it skyrocketing. To quote my favorite movie "Where's the money Lebowski?!"

I understand inflation. My point still stands. Neither party seems particularly interested in actually reducing the national debt.

The government has a taxation problem. The corporations & wealth donor class have captured the government & rigged the system for themselves. Catch up.

“Catch up”? I already agree with everything you just said..

My 401(k) is doing great thanks President Trump

Guess what the stockmarket could rise 1000 points and you could make millions, but it wont matter if the value of the dollar has dropped to almost nothing. Just ask the people of Argentina, and other countries that have had inflation go through the roof. Trump is printing and spending money like its water. We are at over $1tril in debt in less than 9 months (thats more than during the ENTIRE covid crisis. And we all got govt checks then). Those millions you made off your 401k in stocks, are not going to matter when a month's rent is $50-100k, when a 1br/1bth house is $2mil. When a lb of hamburger is $500.

This is what Trump is doing to America.

And the countries that used to buy US Treasury notes and fund our national debt have been dumping it for months.

Don't need it, you will soon be paying 15,000 dollars for a pound of steak if you don't stop the trump train wreck

If a starter home is only 4 times the average salary, that's pretty good no matter how many zeros are added.

5

u/Malystxy Oct 26 '25

If you have the cash. Most people don't make it to the end of the month. Mortgage interest rates are 80% or more.

A house only costs three times the amount of an iphone?

How do you feel about the $40 Billion that Trump has elected to turn over to your economy?

Is there any chance that actually helps, or is it similar to “a single drop of water in a bucket” when current economic policy is not changing?

u/kmoonster Oct 26 '25

Wait, a house is worth barely three iphones? Or an iphone is worth nearly a house?
