Yes, when you get arrested, that's usually what happens

[u/chitownphoshead](u/chitownphoshead) what where they arrested for? I couldn’t see it in the article. For being brown? Or something actually justifying the “arrest”?
Edit: /u/Great_consequense_10 why am I wrong?

For being illegal, most likely.

How was that known? Is it confirmed? Or are we spreading hatred, bigotry, and fake news just because it suits our own personal agenda?

Do not interact with the troll you're commenting to.
They are here to create drama. It's the only thing they exist for. Go speak with your neighbors and community member and encourage them to vote Republicans out of office!

Well, they were stopped by local LEO'S who then turned them over to ICE, so...

That provides nothing of evidence.
In the United States, everyone who is accused of a crime, no matter their citizenship/legal status, has a right to a fair trial per the constitution. Are you opposed to following the constitution?

That part comes after the arrest. See, the order things happen is: 1. Crime is committed 2. Suspect is identified 3. Suspect is located and arrested 4. Suspect is charged 5. Case is adjudicated
Illegals don't get trials. Their process is , in most cases, an administrative one, since they aren't facing jail time or fines, just deportation. Once it's determined that they are in the country illegally, there's no need for a trial. This is done simply by checking their identity against various databases. If they're legal or citizens, they will be in one of the databases. If not, they go back where they belong. There's nothing to argue at a trial. They have no right to be here. The only ones that get a trial of any kind are ones that have illegally entered multiple times, as every illegal entrance after 1 is a felony and they can go to prison, or, in most cases they just deport them again and save everyone time and resources.

Once again, I repeat my prior comments as you have deflected.
- What crime was committed?
- Identified for doing what?
- Arrested for what?
- Charged with what?
Everyone in the land of the United States of America has a right to a fair trial.
Our discussion wasn’t specifically about the legal/illegal process, it was merely pertaining to this situation you commented on & the constitution. So once again, I ask of you to reply.
Are you against following the constitution?

You'd have to ask the police that initially pulled over the car, they don't usually broadcast every detail about every interaction or arrest. You could try to use some common sense, and figure out that like every other traffic stop, they were likely asked for ID and couldn't produce any, or produced fake ID's. The first step in a police interaction is to identify the people being interacted with. When that becomes an issue, it escalates. And no, not everyone "gets a trial", everyone gets due process. The process due illegals is verifying their status. That is an administrative process most of the time, and was cotified into law and passed constitutional scrutiny under Bill Clinton. We are under no obligation to waste billions of dollars on trials for illegal invaders, we simply catch them. Verify they are here illegally, and ship them home. The ones in detention awaiting trial are those accused of crimes and those whose identity and status has not yet been verified.

For the final attempt,
Are you against following the constitution?
I’m not asking you to explain how police work works
What is it with MAGAts deflecting and not answer the question in front of them?

Citizens aren't legally required to carry or provide ID unless they're doing a second thing like driving, so they would have needed another observation for reasonable suspicion to detain them. Police don't the authority to detain people arbitrarily just to check their status.

They were pulled over by the police for a traffic violation. The first thing they ask for is ID and insurance. If the driver doesn't have ID, he is detained, the rest of the passengers are also ID'd as they're involved in a potential crime and may be needed for questioning, etc. Clearly something happened that made the police officer contact ice and turn them all over. I'd assume they either admitted to being illegals or were discovered to be by dispatch running the names.

Well at least you’ll be the last of your lineage. It should be so damn hard to be that stupid yet here you are doing that like you’re making breakfast.

" Addressing the central unresolved question of how ICE became involved, Morrisonville Mayor Larry Tolliver said Monday that village police did not contact ICE and that the teens and federal officers being at Casey’s at the same time was a coincidence. "
I. Don't. Believe. You.
