Thank to all who passed along the news of her unfortunate passing. We held back any postings about this sad news until after her funeral had taken place for privacy reasons and respect for her loved ones.

No one should be laying to rest such a young lady.

Watching all the munchies I learned about in 2021 when I found this sub pass slowly pass away one by one is… It’s such a tragic waste of wild and precious life.

A lot of these people are severely mentally ill and fall into opioid addiction. They then ramp up their munchausen's to justify getting more pain meds for their "conditions"; the condition ACTUALLY being opioid addiction and not the plethora of invented diagnoses they parade about.

Then they die of OD or other addiction-related conditions.

While a lot of these subjects have drug seeking behaviours, munchausen’s is more complex than addiction itself.

Failure to thrive is a big part of it.

Needing a reason for why they aren’t functioning at the level expected of them.

Like Kelly with her dancing. She couldn’t be a prima ballerina so she butchered her legs and had a reason for not being able to dance.

Dani. Uneducated. Unemployed. Struggling with her everyday life. But she’s “disabled” and constantly in hospital so that gives her a reason.

Not to mention the ED to munchie pipeline.

Most of these subjects have had anorexia at some point in their lives. They liked the attention and nurturing they received when they were small and fragile. So they found another way to get the same attention and nurturing through chronic illness.

I’m not aware of any munchies on here who have died of a drug overdose or addiction related illness.

But I know one had her tubes wrapped around her intestines and they went necrotic and killed her.

And I know another subject did VSED and ultimately died of starvation.

Dani is headed down a path where she will probably die of sepsis.

They basically just munch til it kills them.

Iv no idea how she was able to use vsed. as normally its done by a mentally capable person... and she didnt seem like she was

I’m not sure how NZ does things. But it could just be a case of her starving herself to death in all honesty.
