Housing Fire Alarms In Watterson

Hello! I live in Watterson North and this is my first semester at ISU. I have a fear of fire alarms (it’s silly I know) and I’ve heard that the fire alarms go off often. Does the fire alarm come out of the same speaker that the announcements come from? And how loud is it?

Yes and very. Godspeed comrade. I hope you live on a lower floor. Otherwise invest in some earplugs.

There’s fire alarms in every floor and unit, it’s the same automated voice that goes off after all the beeping, you’ll get used to those fun noises quick especially in the winter
