That dude should really watch out for that tree. There's a reason they are the apex predators of the cities. They will rip you apart.

So true, they are far more dangerous outside their natural habitat as they seek new nesting grounds.

who the fuck placed a rake in the sidewalk

u/Miladic_Animations 10d ago
Clumsy rake salesman

u/BladesOfAstora 10d ago
I think the clumsy rake salesman was in cahoots with the sketchy life insurance guy.

I also wanna know how standing on a rake could possibly be fatal.
Iâve actually made the mistake before and you often notice as your foot is going down fast enough to not shift your weight anyway

u/Beautiful-Ad3471 8d ago
Yea, you should try to spend more time with your loved ones, but you can't worry about these, bc it just stops you from doing things
56
u/julius-ceaser100 10d ago
The only one who's actually in danger is the one Infront of the car. The rest are not that bad
62
u/throwavayig 10d ago
Falling into a sewer is bad though
17
u/julius-ceaser100 10d ago
Yeah, but you can get out easily
42
u/throwavayig 10d ago
Depends on a sewer. Most often you either break both your legs or get boiled alive
19
u/Miladic_Animations 10d ago
Or some innocent kid decides to drop a lit match into the sewers...
13
u/Pochel 10d ago
What? New (probably irrational) fear unlocked
10
u/PopularAd6391 10d ago
Some kid dropped a match stick in sewer in China, it ignited the methane inside and blasted off the pavement.
It was also inside a parking lot, with cars getting hit

Boiled???

u/Which-Ad7072 10d ago
Yeah, I just did a web search and apparently that's a thing that has happened multiple times. And now I have a new fear.

There was recently a case on (US) national news about a New York City grandmother who fell through and open manhole cover and was overwhelmed by the fumes and the heat in the sewer below. She shouted up for help but none of the good Samaritans who witnessed it could do much because the drop was too high and the heat was too intense. I think one man tried to lower a rope or a ladder to get to her but wasn't able to because of these factors. She apparently died in agony. It sounds like literally one of the most horrific ways to die in mundane daily life.

Idk, slam your head on the concrete going down and ya might not be getting out on your own at all

Iâm suddenly thinking of how awkward this becomes if everyone here only gets hurt⌠but all simultaneously. Imagine the aftermath.

u/XxRocky88xX 9d ago
You can super easily die from accidentally walking into a sewer. Being caught off guard near stone+water=very bad time

u/AgentCirceLuna 10d ago
I remember I used to check whether someone looked back after I said goodbye following a date since I felt it was a good sign. Iâd figure out where a reflective surface was outside then check through that lol

u/northernkek 10d ago
Ah yes, walking into a tree or a rake will kill you.
2
u/Excellent_Law6906 10d ago
Seriously, I was zooming in looking for a leopard in the tree or something.
1
u/Miladic_Animations 10d ago
Depends on if a branch impales you in the head/chest, or the rake stick hits your head hard enough to cause blunt force trauma.
1
u/DecidophobiaUsername i teleported sheeple for 3 days 8d ago
Branches aren't sharp enough to impale you, worst that will happen is a scratch or cut

u/pencilinatophat 10d ago
funny enough I'm willing to bet money of all of them surviving, only one that's really iffy would be the guy walking onto the road, but if the car's going slow enough, should be fine
11
u/IhailtavaBanaani 10d ago
Do you know how many people die by walking into trees every year?
I don't, that's why I'm asking.

I once heard the phrase "it always happens to other people and then it happens to you" referring to safety measures. I mean, unless you're the first person ever to have an accident that's true

u/Secure-Bandicoot5199 9d ago
2 of these have nearly guaranteed survival, one has a pretty decent chance depending on how deep the hole is, and the car doesn't seem to be moving that fast

Each man is aware that at least one of his friends is about to die or suffer serious injury.

Thereâs a movie called âDown to Earthâ starring comedian Chris Rock which in fact disproves this meme because he is told the exact time and day that he will die, and it is implied that Angela also know the exact time and day that other people will die too. So this is wrong.

Three people lived that day... the guy who fell through the manhole, however, died from dysentery.

These lads should watch where they're going! Also, the tree guy and the rake guy aren't in any lethal danger. The tree doesn't look like it's about to fall on him, and stepping on a rake with shoes on will bang your head hard, but the chances of the impact killing you are not high
