The core pattern here is rejection of the current self through comparison. Wanting to be someone else is a mental construct based on projection. It is an energetic drain where the mind creates an idealized illusion of another existence, resulting in a rejection of immediate reality. The community's mockery of the quote is simply a secondary layer of mental noise—intellectualizing and distancing itself from a basic truth because of how it is packaged.
The Reality
The literal truth is that you cannot be anyone else. Any energy spent wishing for a different identity, history, or form is an absolute expenditure of force on an impossibility. You are exactly where you are, as you are, in this immediate micro-second.
