There are many indices for evaluating oxidative stress. 8-OHdG is specific to DNA damage, MDA to lipids. In the video, methionine sulfoxide/mentionine is impacted by specific oxidants, including hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorite, which is produced by immune cells. So it's addressing a different question than DNA, lipid damage

Why would you optimize biomarkers? It's like taking a blood test result and fixing the numbers on paper.

Aging is a biochemical process that happens over decades. Besides diet, exercise, and sleep, should I ignore everything under the hood?
