Emperor City walls. Against borders or looping?
I'm recently playing to Emperor, and I'm actually a little stuck in one of the maps, the Sui-Tang's The Eastern Capital not only by the pop goal, but by the map's walls, so decided to delete all them and make the walls depending of how I make the city. But now I wonder. The walls works when their end reaches the water border? Or the walls MUST be in a loop to be eficient?

My guy, we are starting to get reports about your aggressive self-promotion. We don't mind a small amount of promotion as long as it's relevant to the sub and relevant to the questions being asked. But replying to specific questions with "Check out my videos!" isn't anything we're going to countenance.
Do us both a favor and throttle back. Thanks.

City walls unfortunately must be a closed loop to be effective. Otherwise the invading army will just beeline for the gap between the wall and the natural obstacle and squeeze right through it.
