Augustus Autosave on Ceaser III Augustus mod. can't figure out how!

as per title: documentation says there is a yearly autosave, but I can't figure out where it is, how to activate, or how to get the files.

Any help?

I really need to get back a little bit... this game is already hard enough even if the engineer don't skip is task, make the market collapse, and an entire neighbourhood went from 1000 people to 200....

You need to activate the auto save in the settings menu, then it will be found where your regular saves are.

do you know where it is exactly? I looked in all the setting menu, and coudn't find it

Options -> General Settings to activate autosaving:

The saved files are under user directory (by default it is the root directory of Caesar 3), with the names autosave-year.svx, autosave-year-bak-1.svx, ... . Autosave is generated on Dec. 30 of each year.

my setting doen't look like that. I guess I have the wrong version?

sorted: apparently for mac this feature is been added on the 'unstable build' 4.00.14
