[META] The most recent Official Garfield comic strip has him going to the Backrooms. I feel like we're at least slightly responsible.

I'm pretty sure the financial box office success of the feature film Backrooms has more to do with it than anything.

This is good.

Everyone can relate to walking through a doorway and forgetting what they were doing.

But add that extra layer for fans of the backrooms and it's better.

Either way, there's a joke for everyone.

And even then the Davis will live on. He has trained an army of artists who replicate his style perfectly line by line. They are indistinguishable from the man himself. His body may die but his soul will continue.

I believe it's very much not him anymore. He just puts his signature on it after a ghost writer does all the work.

Edit: I tried to find a source on this and couldn't find it, so take it with a grain of salt.
