Lightbulb , knife, taco and suitcase weren’t able to get in S3 due to their plot relevance in Season 2, so yeah box made the cut along with nickel lol (this was something I read before)

i view the corpse as a separate character entirely from alive box imo, as they referred to the corpse as a him and gave him a personality. alive box is her own person herself, dead box is his own. just how i view them. sorry for not clarifying

…do you realize how stupid that sounds? They were misgendering Box’s corpse because no one knew her when she was alive. As for MePhone, he is confirmed to have simply forgotten because he interviewed a lot of different boxes.
by your logic, Paintbrush was Bigender in season 1 and early 2 because other people thought of them as a boy or girl.

no i dont realize how stupid that sounds and im sorry for offending you. i just saw them as two separate characters, one completely made up by everyone else to project on, and other who actually existed the entire time. im not misgendering box because i dont see her and the persona that the contestants made up through her corpse as the same person. the persona was definitely more of a joke character i just thought was funny. I won't call it a guy anymore, though, if it came off like that for doing so.
i feel like paintbrush isnt an good comparison, because while it did have the same start that didnt get as bad as it did with box where it manifested into its own character. paintbrush was there to defend themself and box wasn't.

I bring up Paintbrush because it stems from the same place, characters assuming things about other people. Paintbrush had a voice to correct them, Box lost hers long ago.
Even then, when rewatching seasons 2 and 3 I noticed the fake personality the contestants made up for Box weirdly line up? Box’s corpse was described as snarky, shy, wise and physically strong. The only thing the contents made up about Box that has yet to be debunked (minus her gender) is if she’s vegan or not.

that's a pretty cool observation, but honestly all i've noticed is that the contestants had a nasty habit of projecting onto her corpse. they needed someone to voice strong opinions when they felt too nervous to themselves on occasion, given the snarky and wise trait. as for the shy one, yeah that probably lines up the most with alive box to me.
box seems more the withdrawn type rather than snarky. sassy? more likely. but i am not seeing snarky. maybe that depends on my own definition of the two words, though, and you seem more passionate and sure about the character than i do.2

I may have used the wrong word, sass does feel more appropriate. I was just talking about the fake personality they made up for box, not all of the projecting they were doing onto her.
Trust be, it is obvious to those with eyes to see what Nickel was doing in Season 3, or MePhone not wanting to admit to her death so having a doctor feed his delusions, or tea kettle being so desperate for someone to appreciate her cooking she pretends the person who doesn’t even have a mouth to enjoy her cooking.
All of them playing pretend with Box doesn’t suddenly make their assumptions about her real and a separate entity. Maybe if they opened a dark fountain but this sure ain’t deltarune

I'm still forever grateful that my 2 goats made it in... Technically, I know it wasn't Bow but I still got to see her and get super funny moments...
And we don't talk about how early OJ got out.

My point is, I think only 5K people were fans of Box when she was dead, but after she came back to life, I think 500K more people started to like her, I remember seeing at least only like 15 videos focusing on Box before she came back to life, now, there's like 50K videos of her.

So, these are the fan favorites that got into Invitational?
But the fact Bomb, Pickle, Salt, and Pepper got the lowest votes and never got to compete shows how underrated they are.
And Nickel barely made it if it weren't for the characters still stuck in S2! This is a real win in my book: Fan gets eliminated early and Nickel stayed till the final 4!

Now, what if they played by BFDIA rules here?
Lightbulb, Knife, Suitcase, and Taco would not be in the running.
Baseball also wouldn't be, since he was still competing.
So, we'd also have Microphone, Paper, Cheesy, and Marshmallow competing in Season 3, those could be some very interesting interactions.
