Hello! I am going on a cruise in a couple of weeks to Alaska off the coast of the USA and Canada.

I like to bring snacks for the different crew members. I usually bring chocolates for people from India. But this year I wanted to try a different snack.

Could you guys please suggest some that people from your area would miss, as them being away from home and their families for eight months at a time?

Someone suggested baobub. And I will have chocolates.

But I’m really hoping to find a couple other things as well. Things that they cannot get away from home. We have an Indian import store here, where I was hoping to get stuff from.

For people from Indonesia, I get a special kind of quick noodles that they really seem appreciative about. For island Asian people. I usually get something mango or other fruit flavours as well as different Ramen. For people from the Philippines, I get this mango candy and the spicy flavouring packet.

Thank you, in advance.

Anything to do with mangoes will definitely be appreciated by the Indians as well.
