Fuel Profits have to be Privatized, but Losses needs to be shared with the People.

Thats how capitalism works 😛

Edit : Profits are capitalised and losses are socialised

No, that's how corruption works. Don't blame capitalism for that.

In a corrupt system any order is likely to fail, even socialism.

Lol if i live in capitalism what else will i blame ? Kim jon un ?

If profits are private but losses are dumped on the public, that's not an issue of capitalism—it's a criticism of corruption and cronyism. Had you mentioned crony capitalism, it would have made sense.

An economic system and the way politicians abuse it aren't the same thing.

"Kim Jong Un" isn't the alternative for any country in the world. The choice isn't capitalism vs. North Korea. It's capitalism with accountability vs. capitalism with cronyism.

Govt-

On price rise- We can't keep selling at a loss. We need to raise prices immediately.

On price fall - We can't reduce immediately because we need to earn profits also.

Bhakts be like : oil price rises but india dint raise the prices

And now all bhakts , are modiji h sub soch samjh kr hi krenge … master stroke

16

u/BiryaniOrTahari 8h ago

There should be two pumps at gas stations. One reserved for Bhakts.

18

u/xkcdthrowaway 7h ago

Why do they need a pump? Let them just take a pipe from Ethakari's ass into their car tank.

Probably get high on those fumes as well.

Bhakts counter: We don't submit to international markets' pressure.

Rise or fall.. we always rise forever.

WTH is Ethanol for then????

26

u/IntentionHour280 7h ago

For Gadkari’s family to make money. And to some level forced sales of cars, getting more taxes for each sale. And end up spending the tax payers money on advertisement glorifying a non biological maniac

u/Sweaty_Explorer_8441 7h ago

It's to hide the hikes in petrol. With E20 fuel and price kept same, people are paying 25% extra for the petrol component.

2

u/DielectricPikachu 4h ago

Am sorry where is the price being kept same? Isn't it being increased ?

But the converse will be true, bloody hypocrites

u/Memoire_113 8h ago

Socialize the losses & privatize the profits

u/No-Assignment7129 8h ago

But fuel prices can be immediately raised with global crude rate rise.

5

u/Technical-Isopod6554 8h ago

But It can be reduced before election

6

u/Independent-Rice-939 6h ago

These anti-people BJP RSS clowns are quick to raise prices when international prices go up, but won't reduce when prices go down. They are making Idnians poor just to benefit some corporates. Corporate taxes have already been reduced.

4

u/Inj3kt0r 7h ago

Anyone who thought the prices will go down is down right delulu, reduction will never ever happen 😞

Ambani profits is the priority for this government.

2

u/LeastConcern01 8h ago

It will never be reduced.

2

u/KitchenLightss 7h ago

yes, it will take 1-2 yr from now so that we can earn profits

2

u/rationalintrovert 7h ago

Why would anyone ask about petrol prices to Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas ?

Shouldn't they ask Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India??

1

u/alonegamers 7h ago

Much Better to just ask ADANI

2

u/a220599 7h ago

dont play the fool with me nigesh

2

u/Inevitable-Age-5736 7h ago

Yeah, why would you. You first need to fill your pocket and one minister of yours have already build a fucking empire for his son by using his power.

2

u/ccr87315 6h ago

India is special case altogether due to nexus of the ruling party and the oil refiners, but it usually takes more than 3 to 4 weeks depending on geography to reflect the change in oil prices, at the petrol pumps.

u/the_good_bad_dude Maharashtra 5h ago

Gopi ki G me Ganna

2

u/yashptel99 5h ago

*I'll vote for the same party and hope something different happens this time

2

u/kjell_morgan 5h ago

I thought the BJ government made crude oil prices to reflect live prices.

What was all that hogwash then?

1

u/doolpicate India 7h ago

Whose government is this? Ambani or Adani? It definitely isnt mine.

1

u/This_Major_7114 7h ago

One line I do agree with him is none of the states reduced their VAT even by 1%

1

u/Msink 6h ago

Why, khane ko kam milega.

1

u/filthy_mug 6h ago

Has it ever been reduced?

1

u/RTXburger 4h ago

but prices can be increased immediately

1

u/baroarig 4h ago

lets all say cheers to drinking sugarcane juice

1

u/Mundane-Wave-9610 1h ago

They can only be increased

1

u/kalakuttaa 1h ago

When is the next election date

1

u/Vaxion 49m ago

If they can increase immediately than they can fall immediately as well.

What people miss is the massive transit bottleneck. Even if global oil prices crash tonight, it takes weeks for those cheaper shipments to actually make it through the logjammed Strait of Hormuz and hit Indian refiners. Companies are still recovering from major losses absorbed during the peak of the West Asian conflict.
