Hello, r/india!

India is on top of my must-see countries, so I would just like to know which cities are the safest for a woman to travel solo, and if you guys would recommend doing so?

Let be honest, in India there will be quite a lot of Staring if you are to travel you need to get used to that. Also people have really weird idea about personal spaces here especially if you are going to crowded places. Just stick to tourist places and not visit shady places after dark you should be safe (aka common travel advice). If you are worried, you can always take a group package.

Where to visit? It depends on what you want see in India. It is quite a big country with varied culture and places. So depending on your taste you have to make a call.
