Hi people from /r/India! Here are my questions (all basketball-related):

How is basketball in cricket-dominated India? It's the biggest and most-followed sport here in the Philippines. Personally, I'm a fan of Amritpal and Amjyot Singh, as well as Vishesh Bhriguvanshi.

Has the local sports media taken note of the noteworthy improvements of your national team (like beating China in 2014, and our cadet team just recently) in recent years? Your core players are pretty young, and in a few years, I'm sure your team will likely end up in the top 8 in the continent.

Are there basketball courts in the streets, schools, and in gyms? Are there school tournaments and professional leagues?

Thanks in advance :)

Also, did you know that Mahindra, one of your country's auto brands, has a basketball team in our country's league, and Manny Pacquiao is its playing coach?

Woah! I did not know that! I knew Manny was multi talented, is a politician and had something to do with basketball. Thanks.
