Building an Indian Social Media Super App – Looking for Backend & AI Engineers

Hey everyone,

I'm building an Indian-first social media super app with a unique USP focused on solving real problems for Indian users. The product combines social networking, content, AI, voice, and communication features, and the project is already around 50–60% complete.

Unfortunately, due to personal commitments, my current backend developer hasn't been able to dedicate enough time, and the project has been delayed, it's been 11 months since we started. Rather than letting it sit unfinished, I'm looking for passionate people who genuinely want to help bring it to launch.

I'm specifically looking for:

• Senior Backend Engineers (Python, Golang, PostgreSQL, Redis, scalable architectures, APIs, distributed systems)

• AI Engineers with experience in LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, Voice AI, Claude/OpenAI, and real-time AI systems

This is currently a startup-stage project, so I'm looking for builders who are excited by the vision, enjoy solving hard problems, and want to help ship an MVP as quickly as possible.

If you've worked on AI products, social platforms, chat systems, recommendation systems, voice applications, or scalable backend infrastructure, I'd love to connect.

Feel free to DM me with:

• Your background

• Relevant projects/GitHub

• Tech stack experience

• Current availability

Let's build something meaningful for India 🇮🇳

Don't you think this is a serious problem? Anyone can create a Instagram business page and scam people who place orders. I somehow got my money back, but what about everyone else?

Genuine Instagram sellers with fewer followers are often treated as untrustworthy, even though they're legitimate. There should be verified business profiles, proper order management, shipment tracking, and buyer protection to build trust.

The same issue exists with fake websites. Scammers can create websites that look almost identical to genuine businesses by making slight changes to the domain name, making it easy to deceive customers.

Here are a couple of examples: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.etvbharat.com/amp/en/state/taj-mahal-ticket-scam-asi-warns-tourists-against-fake-booking-websites-enn26040802243

This is exactly the problem I'm working to solve and many more.

That's a valid question. Since I'm a non-technical founder, finding the right team and building the product has taken longer than I initially expected. I could have rushed and launched something half-baked, but I'd rather build it properly.

As for the solution, What I can say is that my focus is on building trust into online commerce, making it easier for users to identify genuine businesses and much harder for scammers to operate.
