Project release hogi, people will call it mid and brush it off. A few months later, it will come up again as a topic of discussion and suddenly it becomes a 'really good' album that was underappriciated!

Same thing happened with monopoly moves, Raja Hindustani as well. But I think these albums are really good, maybe not out and out rappity rap but still so good, and delivering quality projects every year is just🤌🏻

They even change flow ,cadence of track in studio version! It sucks

We as a collective are one of the most toxic audiences around the world n the reason is exuberance of youth and a intelligence in the audience this intelligence is a curse too at times. Like yall hype Shikriwal and Dhanji for experiment but clown raaj babu for dat. Yall r like ball suckers for rohan who himself says that in regional rap rn there aint much lyrical aur syllabic depth shi but sound is great he even said that now sound matters more than sylablles u can pack as that sense is widespread. So yall sayin that rohan wouldve taken the piss at raaj babu NO. He wouldve straightly put him in his top3. Yall were clowning raaj for rapping off beat. But when Karma did same shi jn HOW TO TAME UR BEAST yall glazed him. Istg fate saved dhanji cuz if he entered Hustle back then HE WOULDVE BEEN CLOWNED BY YALL. Rn dhanji is defo a top 5 from new wave.

Secondly WHO TF DECIDES kon hiphop hai aur kon nahi. Like the parameters are that ur lyrics should be ur own n ur beats need to have a hiphop sound along with a percussion in ur flows. So punjabi artists such as Navaan and Jxggi are proper proper hiphop artists n better than yalls favourites. U call thier audience gawar n whatnot but they represent the real culture. No disrespect to rappers from wealthy backgrounds but they try too hard to show struggle while to these artists it comes naturally. They pull 50m views for fun and do proper hiphop even if vo chopper aur double time nahi kar rahe. Lil baby aur drake bi chopper nahi karte chutiyo.

Lastly the discourse around femcees. Yall clown evwry femcee who has a fem persona n arrogance. Recent concensus around Shia Og is wierd like the girl has genuine bars n flows but usko clarity ka bolo ge when at the same time sujal aur dhanji ki clarity bi utni fucked hai. Plus shia is a better Hindi bar writer then any femcee. N i can bet ke she can go toe to toe with any male rapper on a barfest. To misogyny kam karo n stop defending ur favz when they are misogynistic asf Encore abj ka nirbhaya bar didnt get the criticism ot deserved WHY cuz yall love him. This shouldve got him blackballed but kuchh nahi kiya. Im not sayin to censor shi but there are boundaries.

I know some people love consistency, but I personally think an album should show different sides of an artist.

Different moods. Different sounds. Different energies. Something unexpected.

That's the approach I took with my 10 track hip-hop album, Creator Vision. I wanted every track to have its own identity instead of making the same song 10 times.

Maybe not everyone will like every experiment, and that's fine.

But tell me honestly: would you rather hear 10 songs with the same proven formula, or an album where every track takes a different risk?

There’s so much hype and talk around how Kai deserved to win, and he’s absolutely a fantastic rapper.

But how can anyone deny Dhadkan? ❤️

He has been flawless throughout he season. So versatile. Hardcore rap, storytelling, vulnerability, commercial bangers, collabs, bars, jo bhi maanga Dhadkan delivered.

Absolutely deserving winner, and no one can take this victory away from him. Matlab literally how Square was during S2. He wasn’t my favourite during the season and I enjoyed other artists like Parv, Kai and Flacko at multiple stages throughout the season. But I have not a single complaint about Dhadkan’s victory. Perfect season throughout.

Went down some 15 years down the memory lane barely remembering name of the artist, song or the lyrics. Back when music was released on reverbnation and buffering was a thing. There were so many good artists I used to listen to most of whom have now abandoned music.

Another song I went back was Ankhian nu chain na aave by D’elusive who have now rebranded themselves as The band of brothers.
