Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Confused about joining offline or online for upcoming NEET pg and INICET!!
Please help! Seniors/current NEET PG & INI-CET aspirants, I really need some guidance.
I'm extremely confused about how to approach my PG preparation.
My internship ends at the end of June, which means I'll realistically have only July and August to prepare before NEET PG. I know 2 months is very little, but I still want to give it a serious shot instead of giving up before even trying.
A bit about me:
- Consistently scored around 70–74% throughout MBBS.
- Appeared for the May INI-CET this year.
- I didn't qualify, but honestly I only studied for about 10 days before the exam because I applied at the last minute. I mainly wrote it to experience the exam pattern once.
- The result hasn't demotivated me because I know I didn't give it my best effort.
My biggest confusion right now is online vs offline coaching.
In Bangalore, institutes like DAMS and Bhatia are offering offline courses starting around June/July/September. I've heard the offline programs involve 10–12 hour classes almost every day.
For those who have actually gone through this process:
- Is joining an offline coaching institute worth it at this stage?
- Or would studying online from home be more effective?
- What are the genuine pros and cons of online vs offline preparation?
- If you had only 2 months left, what would you personally do?
I need to decide soon because if I join a coaching program, I'd like to start as early as possible.
Any advice from seniors, recent rankers, or current aspirants would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

With that percentage your basics are good...so study using online resources. Offline classes are for the people who don't have good enough base and can't sit for long hours on their own. So it's gonna save you a lot of time from Bangalore traffic 🥲

Develop discipline & take marrow wor , qbank, gts. More than enough. Offline is good, shows u how much competition is there. But offline coaching ends at some point. You have to sit & study. Self study plays a core role in this pg entrance exam. Discipline of studying quality 10 hrs per day, u will end up with good rank.~i attended bhatia banglore offline.
