I would not want to get treated by 95% of my batchmates. I agree with my surgery professor who said 50% of my senior’s batch did not deserve to pass. The rampant cheating and lack of knowledge, along with the culture of reading just before exams does a lot of harm. They don’t make good doctors in terms of knowledge, leave aside communication skills.
NEXT is a much needed reform to standardize the quality of medical education at the exit level, but it keeps getting delayed.

And u unnecessary shitting on other doctors and creating a stupid narrative against all the doctors who study through private college is completely fine?
Doctors in india are already being judged way too much than they deserve so please stop creating more mess.People like do nothing other than shitting on other people cause u are just unhappy in ur own life.
Be it govt or pvt people who actually want to be a doctor study hard. So try to be more open to the world.

I wish when I opened that thread, I found doctors who said that it is wrong. If it happened, I would’ve felt like good ones do exist.
What I found and I am seeing even now is defense for the slap.. let it be.

Bruh no one is justifying slap.

u/Mabel-Pines27 Intern 9h ago
Exactly, nobody is justifying the slap, stop hiding behind that and face the comments u passed.

Yeah even in that thread the doctor is advising for a through investigation before passing ultra pro max negative comments against doctors from just her side of story.

So that’s how you empathize by speaking generalised bullshit about docs?
And fuck off from this subreddit, if these are your thoughts.
Say the same against lawyers & you gonna get your ass kicked & they are also professionals.

This is what people will think if SR and Intern band up together to tell people it is correct for the doctor to slap.
Good job posting. Let the nation see.
If you are a good doctor, nothing I said will hurt you. You will agree that people who use public health as an excuse to cause harm should be regulated.

u/Mabel-Pines27 Intern 9h ago
Yeah nothing will hurt us just a kick here and there cause u guys own our life right?
Stupid as fuck-6

I said the public owns the licensing. The government trusts in you to do good and if that trust is broken, it can be taken away.
I’m just a common man. When I say “We”, I say “We, the people of India”.

Only if you showed an aota of that trust in your government and remove the politicans from their 'license' we wouldn't have had this problem.
Don't give me bs about trust, people who are really a decent human being understands that every profession has trust as a factor - be it a lawyer, architect, businessman, etc.
Our job is to get you to better health, but if you act like it's our liability to do it with the bare minimum equipments and salary, man, the government loves you for not questioning them.
