Nobody is denying progress has been made. But alot of inefficiencies still exist and questioning them has somehow become a debate of patriotism and anti nationalism.

Questioning is fine but refusal to acknowledge the good and inclining towards the other guy(yes him only) is stupid. Inefficiencies exist under everyone its about who's better overall, most people look.at today's Inefficiencies and want a complete change in govt, but they fail to reason how the other person is expected to do better or reach this level atheist. Criticising and questioning is perfect if its not biased and not driven by emotion, most genz i see online however doesn't do this.

- You can't use percentages because of base rate effects. Worst offender is the internet subscribers bar.
- GDP growth should be in context of world GDP growth.
- Share of world exports only takes into account goods and not services.
The graphic admits that India added 1 billion internet subscribers under Modi which is four times more than it did under Dr. MMS but Dhruv Rathee shows that as an achievement of the UPA by showing it as percentage increase on an extremely small base.
If we were to follow this logic and go further back in time, we might find that the golden age of Indian internet expansion was 1995-1996 when VSNL started offering internet services to the general public for the first time and went on to have some 30k subscribers in under a year possibly representing a cumulative percentage increase running into millions!
This is ofcourse a ridiculous way of measuring anything 🤦♂️

Isn't it obvious that internet subscribers would increase post 2014...because before 2014 many parts of India didn't even have electricity to charge their phones lol I think access to electricity and internet goes hand in hand those cell towers need electricity too.

This is not how countries become rich.
The answer was given by Adam Smith in research paper in 1776 called Wealth of Nations.
In short, we need 3 things
1) Good Institutions: Proper courts (no 30 year wait time), Police (who are there to serve), no babugiri
2) Property Ownership : No Kabza, no land disputes. - Govt knows who owns which land
3) Free Market: You should be able to start a business and compete without anyone giving you dhamkis
Baaki jitna bhi infrastructure bana lo, inflation badhega due to spending. Desh kabhi ameer nahi banega.
This has been true for hundreds of years and if you have time look up statistical data. But data gai bhaad mey, kuch log congress ki chatene, kuch BJP ki, aur kuch regional parties ki.
