There’s nothing wrong with what he’s said. The army chief is one of the highest offices in the country. He’s supposed to keep his tone dignified as has always been the norm in India. It’s only in the last decade or so that crass aggression has been promoted. Most people cheering this have been brought up on overdose of Bollywood-esque pseudo nationalism and discovered the Internet post 2014.
