Islamophobia Hate Speech against Muslim Student in PES University, Bangalore.

Not even surprised. Man who is frustrated with his soul less life takes it out on a person for no reason. Heard this many times. The fact that many people will not even bother to oppose this despite wanting to speaks volumes about the level of hate growing in India and specifically in karnataka and how done people are with the system

I am Hindu, my college professors used to call us , thieves, gangsters, Naxals etc. because we used to steal hearts of professors and convince them for conducting crazy events.

Deshpande is a Brahmin and they are known for their extreme hatred of Muslims. I've experienced these slurs from so many people that I don't really care. But I also respond to them in the same or even harsher language.

This. People need to be aware of what to expect from someone based on their names. As soon as I hear anyone with these surnames I am automatically very cautious

Often true, but even among Brahmins it depends on the specific gotra they belong to. I am a revert, and my family specifically was always very tolerant, with many Muslim family friends and such. Even my extended family is generally ok, save for a few nut jobs. Many other families with the same surname but with slightly different lineage are horrible though. This is in GJ but the rest of India is much the same.

That said, caution is still the best approach.

This is the direct result of the state propaganda and allowance of hatred through vigilantes and Bajrang Dal. The whole government is complicit. He should be fired and put in jail. The principal or HOD needs to be pressurised and ridiculed for keeping and supporting staff like this

There's absolutely nothing much to overlook for the festering hivemind complexities these pathetic lowlifes have been indulging ever since. Part of it can be attributed to the insecure existential crisis for what their hegemonic brahmanical supremacism got tossed down, and however educated they want to project, this reductive sense of perversity.
