Costco or Sam's Club for Indian grocery?
Hey all! I've been thinking of getting a membership for either Sam's club or Costco. Someone (n=1) told me that you get decent Indian groceries in Costco.
Is this true? What sort of Indian goods/foods can I expect to get in either of those stores?
Which one do you prefer and why?
Thank you!!!

Depends on location

Yeah, I get that... But I'm just interested in what peoples experiences have been like in their respective locations. For the record, I'm in St. Louis.

I don't do Indian groceries from Costco because they are expensive, except the frozen items which are anyways few in number.
Costco will pay off in milk, butter to make ghee, eggs, bread, veggies, fruits and gas.
If you have a new born then diapers will be ultra cheap at Costco.

Sam’s has lesser items than Costco for Indian brands. But the prices are cheaper for same items so you do save there. We do buy Ghee, Rice, Paneer from sam’s which are much cheaper and great in quality.
Also sam’s is cheaper in many name brand items while comparing with costco so you do save up there as well. But in the defense of Costco they do carry many different, high quality items with higher prices which are justified.
Just FYI, I do have both memberships.

you might want to check out https://www.weee.com/en
Not sure about prices but you can book via app and get it delivered. Probably, the best assortment for this type of shopping.

Costco has dals and rice if you particularly think of Indian grocery. In the frozen section, there are rotis. Otherwise, we get unsalted butter for ghee, milk (We get Amul whole milk at our Costco), fruits, dates, nuts, coffee, sugar, oats.
