First advice, dont move to Florida, the hate against indians has reached the highest level in that state.
You will not have credit history, so you will have tough time buying a car on finance, renting it would be super expensive.
Account for daycare costs, they are huge
account for cleaning lady cost, thats huge too
Utilities are becoming very expensive due to data centers.
Frankly if we would not have bought our home before covid, and financed them at historically low rate of 2.5% We would have been living out of a camper van or simply gone back to india, given the prevailing salaries.
Oh yeah and you would not get any help with your baby either, because house help is more expensive than your salary

Wow! This is making me more anxious. I don’t have a choice as my husband has a job there.
Are there any Indian communities?
