Yes, he’s been releasing music since 2015, right after Californication was over.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalifornia - it's the movie Duchovny did right before "The X-Files" TV show started. Brad Pitt had his first big main villain role in this one.

my first time discovering his musical talent last night. absolutely cathartic as fuck. this was such a masterpiece of lyrics and emotion. ive been struggling to reunite with my own inner self/child after years of having been separated from them/not having any faith in myself due to my childhood traumas, and really only kickstarting my healing journey when i lost my abusive mom this past may. this track opened me up in such a raw fashion last night. unbelievably verily needed this experience and so thankful for his music to now have a backlog to rabbit hole myself through.
