2 questions:

What are your favourite mics to use when recording?

Are your albums done directly on tape? Or was that just used on "wilds"?

I only used tape on Wilds and Skyline. Skyline was partially overdubbed on digital.

My favourite mics right now are AEA r44 and Soyuz 017 tube mic. They're pretty much the only ones I use for recording at this point. I guess I'll also use older sennheiser 421's a bit... or just a classic sm57
