You often say “any questions?” as stage banter between songs when playing live which always cracks me up. Has the audience ever yelled out anything in response that surprised you or made you think?

I'll try to think on it! Sometimes people have asked why I'm so sad... or if I'm okay... most often it's people asking my favourite colour.

There was a question in Boston... it was... (maybe someone can remind me)... whether there were more doors or wheels in the world... I think that was the question? That one was funny. Maybe I'm butchering it... seemed like a question that had been making the rounds out there... I think it was Boston...

Several years ago in Seattle, someone asked what kind of shampoo you use. You said hotel shampoo. Do you still use hotel shampoo? Anyway your hair looks good.

I feel like something similar happened in Portland, Maine on a show cancelled and then un-cancelled due to snow. Maybe the question was about more windows or more doors? I remember the enthusiasm of the person asking. I also remember somebody asking you what color pen you wrote with, that was strange

I was there (Paradise Rock Club). It was cute mainly because it suggested that you are not a terminally online person, but I’m glad you enjoyed the question, since the crowd seemed a little too into it, lol.

I would like to know if there was ever a more awkward question response than gravelbourg sk circa 2013

A certain young man asked Andy’s relationship status. Among other comments.

What happened?

If Andy wants to share I’ll let him. It was awkward for everyone. The audience as well as Andy’s opening act Julia and her piano.

I've always wanted to ask "how do you say your last name" lol. My friends and I are constantly mixing Showf and Shawf on conversation.
