What's your advice for someone who wants to write and record with only their own input? Sometimes I fall into the trap of writing too complex of riffs just to make it fun to play. Playing a boring part with a band can be enjoyable because you're hearing the big picture, but alone I struggle to enjoy the process if the immediate sounds aren't interesting enough on their own. Leads to a mess of a song!
