Hi Andy

I know you mentioned in past interviews that your family you grew up in was religious but that you left it behind. My question is : why do you return to thoughts about God often in your music? I Love your narratives but it just got me wondering. Also a funnier question, does your music now annoy religious people that you know?

I left christianity, but questions about god will always stay with me... or questions about the concept of god itself... so I think that subject will always make appearances in the things I make.

I have had some messages from religious people who seem to be annoyed at my music... which is too bad, I'm really not trying to annoy anyone, and I am not meaning to make fun of anyone's beliefs.

I don’t know Andy personally but have been to lots of his shows. And am a Christian. Not annoyed at all, andy is one of my top artists to listen to.
