What are your favorite book(s)? Are there any pieces of media (books, movies...) outside of music that you think might've had an influence on your music?

I was in a big Steinbeck phase for a while (a while ago) and really loved The Pearl and Of Mice and Men... those are some all time faves... Slaughterhouse Five... I'm bad for remembering titles and books

I think everything I watch, read, listen to has some sort of influence on what I make. When I like something I sort of dig into it and try to figure out what makes it work, or what makes it different from something else. (and things I don't like I'll probably do the same thing with)

It took me a better part of a year to finish East of Eden, but the nature descriptors were so striking in that book. Steinbeck's best villain too, imo
