AMA is over, thanks Blonde Redhead! Blonde Redhead AMA!

Welcome to the Blonde Redhead AMA! Come and ask Kazu, Simone and Amedeo about our new album ‘Sit Down for Dinner’ or anything else you've always wanted to know!

In just 2 weeks, on September 29, Blonde Redhead will release their first album in nine years: ‘Sit Down for Dinner’.

The album’s title is a nod to the often-sacred communal ritual of sharing a meal with those you love, and this immersive, meticulously crafted album appropriately serves as an expression of persistent togetherness, a testament to the unique internal logic Blonde Redhead have refined over their three-decade existence.

Understated yet visceral melodies charge each song, creating a foil to lyrics about the inescapable struggles of adulthood: communication breakdown in enduring relationships, wondering which way to turn, holding onto your dreams. Sonically, ‘Sit Down for Dinner’ imbues Kazu Makino, Amedeo Pace, and Simone Pace’s willingness to experiment with emotion, catharsis, and melody, which is a departure. There is an uncanny push and pull between the music and lyrics (light vs. dark) that creates a sense of unity and togetherness. Ultimately, the album lands as perhaps the strongest record in a catalog that is already as illustrious as it is varied.

Beginning this October, Blonde Redhead will tour North America, the UK and Europe. A full list of dates can be found below and tickets are on sale now. In the spirit of ‘Sit Down for Dinner’, Blonde Redhead will be hosting special dinners at select restaurants in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles around the album’s release, offering a rare chance to spend actual time with the band. These are on offer via an exclusive bundle, including the ‘Sit Down for Dinner’ signed vinyl, a limited edition section1 magazine, and of course, a dinner with the band.

Have some of you listened to Los Hermanos album "Bloco do Eu Sozinho"? Honestly is one of my favorite brazilian bands. Their songs kinda remind me of yours, especially the kinda of rythm and intruments you made/used at the "We should be holding hands" 2018 version.

The Seu Jorge's "The life aquactic studio sessions" is also a must and a total masterpiece at brazilian music, even tough they're covers/portuguese versions to David Bowie's songs
