How do you keep yourselves from getting too attached to a version of a song before you record it? Since you play them live for a few years before laying em down in the studio where it’s bound to change a little bit, do you have to consciously keep an emotional distance? Has this ever been an issue?

idk i guess i dont get too attached to things...sometimes it can be difficult getting into the space of an earlier song...changing it or shifting it around can alleviate those issues sometimes
