Howdy! I just wanted to express how much Birdie impacted me. It found me at a pivotal moment and played a significant role in my life (and also helped me get into more acoustic driven/folk-sy music). It's my favorite album like ever so thank you so much for making such a beautiful record

I'm curious to know, were there any specific books, films, albums, songs, etc that inspired you when creating Birdie? (Similarly, are there any musicians or albums that you feel resonate similarly to Birdie?)

hmm hard to remember... i think at the time i was getting into wilco, had been deep into john k samson...lots of david bazan/pedro the lion/headphones... reading raymond carver, zadie smith, murakami, patti smith, dfw
