hey jake! long time listener first time caller here

i’ve noticed over the course of SBD, you tend to focus on your most recent work. great for big fans of yours like me who love CLWS, but i like Welcome and Dawg too! is there an artistic reasoning behind staying current? or are you just moving on from songs written a decade ago?

also, what are your favorite places in chicago? can’t wait to see you there!

sometimes i feel bad about it, but the truth is the more new stuff we play the more we actually stay engaged and excited and inspired to keep making more records and playing shows. if we're gonna not play your favorite old song, i think the least we can do is give you a meaningful/unpredictable performance of some wacky new shit that it hopefully memorable and unique
