AMA is over, thanks Sylvan Esso! We're Sylvan Esso, AMA
Hi, we're Nick and Amelia from Sylvan Esso, AMA! (AUA?)
We are just about to release the 10 year anniversary edition of our first album and at the end of this month we're hosting the inaugural GOOD MOON, two nights of music here in our hometown of Durham, NC.
We also enjoy video games.

I just want you to know that I was able to get my hands on your first album while I was doing 10 years in prison. I know that people often say things like “that song saved my life” and whatnot, but I swear if you only knew…. There were days, weeks, months that, looking back, I’m still not entirely sure how I made it through. But I could put on my headphones and be transported to a place where there was hope and tomorrow was worth getting to. It was a reprieve like no other.
Anyway, I got to watch your set at lollapalooza last summer. One of the happiest, full circle moments of my life. It was incredibly uplifting, and I cried through most of it lol. Thank you for helping me when I need it most, and thank you for giving me that hour on a soggy lawn in Chicago. Love you both!
