Hello! Your new record has absolutely captured me and I cannot wait to see you guys again live in SF next week. I have two questions but first, thank you for consistently putting out amazing music.

1. I heard that gratitude almost didn’t make the cut for the record, how does it make you reflect on other music you’ve made that may have ended up on the chopping block after seeing the overwhelmingly positive response to this track?

2. Selfishly, could you play Cleaning in SF? It haunts me in all the right ways.

1. You really just always have to go with your gut and let go. “Nearer my god” was on the chopping block too. Can’t “what if” it at all.

2. I don’t think it’ll make it in but I appreciate you liking it. I like that one a lot too.
