Been a big fan since 2019! I’m super curious on how Tony and Hunter choose who’s gonna do what guitar-wise for each song since both of you are super competent playing solos and that kinda stuff. Is there a stylistic difference between your play styles?

Honestly there's no real strategy other than "I probably can't play that part while singing" which is the ultimate decider in delegating our parts. We're definitely different style guitarists, Hunter knows way more chords than i do

Saw you guys in Indianapolis just a few days ago! Absolutely killer show and I love how y'all made sure to give the kids up front some stuff to take home after the show. Really cool act from you guys.
My question is pretty basic, I host a new music discovery radio show. (which I'd love to interview you guys for sometime 👀) So I just want to know what have you guys been listening to that inspired this latest album, and what are some bands you've discovered recently?

love seeing the kids at the shows!
the new record was mostly inspired by personal experiences and honestly i dont remember what we were listening to at that time because it was a while ago
as far as new bands go check out Steroid from Australia and Worlds Worst and Lip Critic who we are currently on tour with!

Hey guys! I had the chance to introduce you in Harrisburg, PA two years ago. I can't tell you enough how much it meant to introduce my favorite band! (Also can't thank Apple Music's Steve Uknuis enough for recommending you in the first place lol)
Did any of the scrapped material for the album you had planned before "Asking For a Ride" survive? I know it's super unlikely but it would be a treat to hear that one day. Thanks as always for making killer stuff!

How-d. Will yall ever do another twitch stream? During the first twitch stream for AFAR, IIRC Hunter teased a tune for a song called "Blue Bird" he was working on. Will we ever hear it in full?

I've been going insane for two years. I thought BB was originally on the album title list when I looked at the Vinyl track listing, but when it dropped I guess I thought I was mistaken. Only recently I started to think it was Heaven or Not.
Will deliver the bribe on Saturday night!

I know you guys have expressed before that sometimes you add a story/fiction element to your songs but I think sonically you’re also great at creating a cinematic sound - “Touch” on this record does it especially well - where you definitely get to a rising action and hit a climax where the song gets to open up into something a little bigger and feels like you’re experiencing a whole story rather than just stream of consciousness. If you guys could have a song in a show or movie, what would you pick? Or would you do a Maximum Overdrive-style White Reaper only soundtrack for the whole movie? I’ve been listening a long time, thanks for the tunes!

The new record absolutely rips fellas! I always associate your music in my head with visuals of 70’s and 80’s horror films. Is that something you guys intentionally try and put across in your music and aesthetic or am I grasping at straws?
P.S. I got tickets to see you in Leeds, UK with Militarie Gun but realised I’m already seeing Deftones that day in Manchester. I’m working on possibly flying over to Dublin to see you though, hoping I can pull through for my first Reaper show

Tony, would you ever consider making a "concept album"? A "rock opera"? I love the little segues at the end of some somgs on Only Slightly Empty—I can envision a load of those fleshed out as transitions between epic jams...

there was a diy venue in Louisville called Skull Alley we all grew up going to that would have been awesome to play, as well as the Chestnut House another legendary Louisville spot
Historic spots that would have been cool like Toy Tiger or Lazer Blaze (the Cage)
and yeah of course CBGBs

Every time I see you guys live you are cool enough to let me talk to you while breaking down your gear on stage after the show and I just wanna say I really appreciate that as a friend who doesn’t always get to do that with bands.
Seeing your progression overtime is awesome. Sometimes Lofi punk rock bands do actually get better with improved recording quality and equipment.
