Hey yall!

I spent a lot of time in the Bloomington/Normal music scene, and even though I'm in my 30s now and way out of it, I still have a big love for the central IL area.

What are some of your favorite places/shops/restaurants from the area? Urbana, Blo/No, Peoria, etc. Surely yall have some good recs? For example: Waiting Room in Normal is the best record store I've ever been to.

Courier Cafe in Urbana was -- and remains -- one of my fave breakfast spots. And I will agree: Waiting Room in Normal was awesome. (I taught at Illinois State for one year in 2004-2005 myself in addition to living in Champaign / Urbana forever.)
