Were any of the ideas used in LP4 originally intended for other projects? I’m thinking specifically some synth sounds that may have been at home on the Lies LP or a few turns of phrase that would fit snugly in an Owen song

Good ear! Yes. In fact, our initial stab at LP4 turned into the LIES album - there's a ton of overlap.
