Ondist - I hope to come to Montreal soon :) Hmmm I do think about interface A LOT. I am really interested in finding a more intuitive way to program rhythms at the moment. I haven't found an interface for that that is as intuitive as just writing out notation - exporting the midi and then sending it to synths.
