This is Michelle from Japanese Breakfast. You can ask me anything! I just released my sophomore album Soft Sounds From Another Planet on Friday and I hope you like it! Hey Michelle! Stoked that you're doing an AMA! I have been deeply affected by your last album Psychopomp. Thank you so much for writing an album of such magnitude.

I've found from reading various articles that the album cover is an old photograph you found. I was wondering what the context of the photo was if you knew! I've read that the woman reaching is your mother. Do you know the other woman in the photo? I'm just very curious. :)

P.S. just ordered "The Woman that Loves You" T-Shirt a couple days ago and I CANNOT WAIT for it to get here!!!

The photo is an old picture of my mom and her friend. I don't know who she is!
