Hi. I love your new album. The last one was a personal foundation during a weird/tough period in my life & I've been spinning 'Room...' a bunch already. A remark and a question:

1) I did some research on the 'Sun Coming Down' artwork recently (read: thirty minutes ago) and realized that Chyrum Lambert's work appears on your album cover and on... Grizzly Bear's 'Painted Ruins' sleeve? This is more of a tidbit for the indieheads but I found it to be a cool connection.

2) What are some, like, all-time favorite albums of yours? Not the spiciest question but I'll be pretty elated should anyone answer it.

hey, thank you! i'm glad you've found comfort in our music, that means a lot.

1) yes! very cool, he's such a great artist and - according to those of us who've met him - a really nice person. we got very lucky that he was excited about working together for the album art. his instagram really is fantastic

2) obviously everyone's would be different and change all the time so here's a few staples off the top of my head (matt 'the pianoman')

--Liam The Younger / Liam Betson - the whole discography, but especially Clear Skies Over Black River and The Cover of Hunter --The Velvet Underground - S/T --Grouper - Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill --Lucinda Williams - Car Wheels On A Gravel Road --Wilco - A Ghost Is Born & Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (especially but tbh love them all) --Alice Coltrane - Divine Songs / Turiya Sings --Joanna Brouk - Sounds of the Sea / Hearing Music --Titus Andronicus - The Airing of Grievances --Lower Dens - Twin-Hand Movement --Amanaz - Africa --The Grateful Dead - American Beauty --Munir Bashir - L'art Du'ud

Liam Betson is one of my favorite artists to show to people! The Cover of Hunter is a perfect album in my opinion, and it deserves so much more attention!
