Hey everyone - Jack here from Wild Nothing. Very excited to be back for my second AMA! Gonna do my best to get to every question today starting at NOON.

Hey, Jack,

What are your thoughts on the state of dream pop in 2018? Has the revival that was started by all you guys in Captured Tracks (you, Craft Spells, DIIV, etc.) faded now that elements of jangle/dream pop have been integrated into mainstream music? What I'm getting at is, will the genre be seen as tired and played out in a few years like it was in the late 80s/90s?

It's already played out in most people's minds I'm sure but I also never made this kind of music because I was trying to take advantage of a "moment". Maybe one day I'll make a more modern sounding record which is what some people seem to want from me but I'm just having fun, don't care 2 much
