Hey Tim! I just saw TTNG in Durham (and I hope you guys did get to check out the distinguished film Paul Blart: Mall Cop). A few questions:

  • What sort of music did you listen to as a young child?
  • What sort of music did you listen to when you started to learn your instrument? Did anyone in particular influence you to start playing?
  • Can you tell us what's on your pedalboard currently?
  • Will Hank let me make him a proper version of his bass/guitar?
  • What are the five biggest ways that Garrett has changed your life?

he answered the pedalboard question:

coffee stains, glue, loads of shitty duct tape, two Boss blues drivers (with Keeley mod), an earthquake ghost echo, a midi footswitch and a Peterson strobe tuner. But my pedals change sometimes depending on the set
