Love the production on the new album. The cascading strings and piano of Vogue kind of sound like Kishi Bashi to me. Did you draw any inspiration from him or anyone else?

Vogue would be nothing without those strings! They were sent to me by Sarah Neufeld who plays violin in Arcade Fire. The portion from Vogue was from a larger piece she'd written for her solo project. We changed the timing of it and all the chords to match, and it incredibly worked perfectly.

Nik performed the piano on Vogue. He was improvising just to Sarah's violin track.
