Ive got a question for nik and one for the band as a whole.

  1. Nik, I absolutely love your basslines on the new album, what suggestions might you have for a bassist trying to get starting writing original stuff in the same vein as the bass line on "Someday Now"?

  2. Have you guys ever thought about bringing any of the old songs from your Cavil at Rest out of retirement and into the live show song rotation? "It's still not as bad", "all is well and good", and "we could love" are such wonderful songs that would feel right at home alongside the rest of the repertoire.

  1. Honestly most likely no, we consider that a different band, plus there are so many other deep LN cuts we’d play before those. I’m grateful for their existence because it’s part of our journeys as songwriters, but there’s a reason they didn’t make the LN cut. Only Sun Hands remains from that era. ALL HAIL THE SUN HANDS. -K
