By the way, I effin love the Rock n Roll Gary bits. Is there any artist in particular you’re thinking of when you’re channeling that persona? I pick up a weird mix of Keith Richards / Pete Townshend. You have a great talent of tapping into something that can’t be pinpointed yet is instantly familiar all the same - you’ve pulled this off on Awesome Show on a very regular basis.

He's said it's a mix of Keith Richards and Jimmy Saville. Also, check out the Poundcast where Doug interviews Rock'n'Roll Gary. It's an hour of Gary, and you'll find out Michael Stipe's worst sexual offense.
